16-year-old with a significantly deviated cartilaginous nose in front view. The patient suffered from impaired nasal airway passage and the overall asymmetry of her nasal appearance. Primary rhinoplasty included extensive septal reconstruction using nasal bones to straighten her deviated septum. The photos are taken one year after surgery. This is not only the minimum time to wait for all swelling to settle, but also to ensure, that the newly positioned nose remains in midline. The patient could not be any happier. A nice twist to that patient journey: GB has held her as a new-born being invited to friends during his first year of medical school in Heidelberg, Germany.
