HAVE A BESPOKE AND NATURAL SMILE
Our lips and our eyes are the most important centres for communication. Any subtle change in the shape or tone of our lips already tells if we are pleased, amused or unhappy.
Lips are also the framework for beautiful teeth. Full lips, and a well-balanced dental show while we talk and smile puts subtle emphasis on what you say.
The goal of a lip lift is to create a more defined and fuller upper lip. It provides facial balance and draws attention to the area of the mouth, even before a disarming smile has been engaged.
For this reason, success in lip lift surgery depends on the natural appearance of the result. Individual anatomy of the lips and the teeth, just like facial expression patterns need to be taken into account, when planning the procedure.
According to the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery lip augmentation has increased significantly in patients under 30.

ARE YOU A CANDIDATE FOR A LIPLIFT?
Lip lift surgery can be a solution to anybody with a long upper lip and thin red lips. As we age, our lips lose fullness, which makes them appear thin and long. Sometimes, the upper teeth can become completely covered by the aging upper lip.
Also, young patients can be born with thin red lips and long upper lips hooding the upper teeth. Barely visible upper teeth during speaking or smiling detract from the overall attractiveness of a person’s face.
Lip lift surgery is also a lip augmentation procedure creating a permanent result, that accentuates the appearance of your lips and your teeth.
WHY NOT USE FILLERS INSTEAD?
Frequently, patients with a long upper lip report about disappointing experiences with injectable fillers. The reason for these shortcomings is most frequently the anatomy of the elongated upper lip. Any attempt to increase the red lip volume of an elongated upper lip can result in an unbalanced and unflattering look. The lip lift procedure restores facial proportions permanently and sets the foundation for future success with lip injections, if additional volume is requested.
HOW IS A LIPLIFT PERFORMED?
During the preoperative consultation, various details need to be taken into account when planning the surgery. This starts with evaluating the foundation of your lips, the shape of your teeth, and continues with the anatomy of the upper lip soft tissue in various areas. Furthermore, your facial expressions are analysed, especially identification of your smile type.
